Oh lord, we are 63 days away. 63 days people.
Begin hyperventilating stage.
We've been engaged for approximately 11 months, which means I have been wedding planning for approximately 11 months minus 30 seconds. But this week has resulted in quite a few freakouts. Apparently at some point you realize that regardless of how much stuff you 'think' you have done, you really haven't accomplished anything.
Except attend all possible cake tastings. There ARE important things in life.
I started making a list the other day of things I need to remember or to do or people to call. After about 5 minutes of writing I realized that writing is a complete waste of time and I was just going to type it in order to be more efficient. It's SEVEN pages long. Typed.
Whoops, I guess my mom was nagging me about getting stuff done for a reason.
In all honesty though, we are in okay shape - there's just a few things that have my heart rate slightly elevated.
Like the fact that Adam still doesn't have anything to wear to the wedding. Oh yes, you're going to show up and see me looking all stellar in my fabulous Emerald Bridals gown, strutting down the aisle towards...a guy wearing a stretched out polo and cargo khaki shorts.
It's a pretty picture huh? We were actually planning on buying suits (vs renting) because for just a little bit more money, the groomsmen can actually keep what they're wearing. The trouble is that this process involves a bit more time on our part to find suits that everyone likes and can purchase. Which we have put off for about six months. So if you need me this weekend I'll be at the mall. Or at another cake tasting. Because those really don't get old. And shopping makes me hungry.

Good luck finding suits! When planning my wedding I found that if I was feeling overwhelmed I would concentrate on knocking one thing off my list and this usually made me feel better and also motivated to get started on the others. One thing at a time.

So smart buying the suits. I would have looked into that had I thought of it seven years ago! Makes so much sense. Good luck!

Good luck with all the planning! Take it one step at a time.

I will bet you feel a lot better with a typed list. Even though it is 7 pages long (eppppss!), at least it is all down on paper and out of your head. :)
Take a deep breath and enjoy the ride...everything will come together and you will have a lovely day (and not look anything like the bride in the pic)

Good luck with all of the wedding planning madness. The cake tastings were our favorite part of the process...and I'm tempted to take the wedding band off just so we can taste cakes again. Um. Yum!
