blogging platform dilemma.

I've been contemplating making the move from Typepad to Blogger, or possibly back to Wordpress again.  Any nuggets of wisdom on this topic?  Which platform do you use?  Pros?  Cons?  Help a girl out here, I'm so indecisive!

I use Blogger for my personal blog, and WordPress for my work blogs. As far as the spam goes, Blogger wins by a landslide. I often have hundreds of spam comments that I have to manually mark as spam in WP. Even with the plugins I've installed, the spam still gets through.

And as far as ease of use as far as design and usability, I've preferred Blogger over WordPress. (I just don't have the option to change to something different at work.)

Then again, I know lots of people who love WP.

I use Blogger and I like it but I have never used anything else so I can't really compare it to anything.

I am a total WP fan.... I also had a blogger account for a while, but WP is so much easier to work with (in my opinion). Would you go self-hosted or free WP?

I was on blogger forever and switched to wordpress around christmas time and LOVE IT. can't say enough good things about it. So many things to do and chose from and easy breezy!
