It officially became winter on Friday when snow started to fall in Cleveland. And as I walked out to my car after work, excited for the weekend to begin I realized that my silvery scion had become white with a dusting of snow. Not too concerned I proceeded to swipe off the snow with my gloves only to discover a layer of ice all over my windshield. Wut-oh.
I don't own a snowbrush.
Yes, I live in Cleveland and don't have a snowbrush. You are all judging me right now, I can feel it. It's pretty much standard issue to have two or three snowbrushes in your car up here. Ya know, in case one breaks. Cause winter is just that terrible.
So there I sat for the next twenty minutes using my defrosters to melt the ice instead of quickly scraping it with the tool that has become a necessity in Cleveland. And then proceeded to get stuck in traffic on the way home because I left work so late. Sigh.

Also, I already got my car stuck once this weekend. Apparently, I'm just not cut out for snow, maybe we should just move south for the winter...anyone want to donate to that cause?
i have SO been there.
we were sharing a snow brush for awhile. then realized that with our cars going to DIFFERENT PLACES we would probably need two ;-)

May I suggest the spray de-icer. It comes in a handy little aerosol can, and works wonders. It even has a built-on scraper if you have a particularly tough spot... but just spray it on, and watch the ice melt away. For wimps like me who don't want to scrape!
